I. Application Scenarios

 

It focuses on industrial high-power lasers (cutting/welding), fiber amplifiers, medical laser equipment, and fiber optic sensing, catering to the demands of high-power transmission and low nonlinearity.

 

II. Cooperation Cases

 

It has co-founded the Jinxingtong Fiber Optic Research Institute with Ningbo University to advance the R&D of special optical fibers. It has long-term cooperation with the three major telecom operators and South Korea's Samsung, etc., and has completed small-batch supply verification in high-power laser projects.

 

III. R&D Technologies

 

- Core Capabilities: Mastery of core diameter optimization and refractive index profile design for large mode area fibers, featuring low nonlinearity and high damage threshold.


- Patent Layout: Holding patents related to large mode area active fibers, adopting structures such as double-layer nested capillaries to enhance fundamental mode confinement and suppress higher-order modes.


- Key Indicators: Mode field area ranges from 100–150μm², low loss (about 0.15dB/km@1550nm), crosstalk performance better than -50dB/100km, suitable for single-mode transmission.


- Team Support: Backed by a provincial-level R&D center and expert consultants with special government allowances from the State Council, it conducts joint research on microstructured fiber technologies with universities.

 

IV. Production Capacity

 

- Output: Annual fiber drawing capacity reaches 10 million fiber-kilometers, and optical preform capacity is 300 tons per year, enabling mass production of large mode area fibers and other special optical fibers.


- Production Lines: Equipped with 8 fiber drawing lines, 15 coloring machines and 6 secondary coating devices, supporting customized parameter production.


- Quality Control: Certified by ISO9001, TL9000 and CTA, with controllable parameters and performance complying with international standards.

 

V. Sales Volume and Inventory

 

- Sales Volume: Focusing on customized and small-batch production, annual shipment volume grows steadily along with high-power laser and communication projects, accounting for about 20% of the company's special optical fiber revenue.


- Inventory: Implementing an order-driven + safety stock model. The stock preparation cycle for regular specifications is 3–7 days, and the delivery cycle for customized products is 15–30 days.
